"Nothing will take the place of persistence; talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent."

I would almost agree. I’d change it some, but you get the message and people seem to like quotes from well known SMART people. So guess what, you’ll get your share of them here.
Who am I? Who are you? You will soon learn who I am and learn to TRUST me. You will soon learn that I am your teacher, your instructor, trainer, your coach, your mentor, your partner, your sensei and your guide. Fact is, I will teach you that almost everybody you meet will be all of these to you.
“I do not know know what I do not know, and therefore I can not speak intelligently about the subject”. - Jerome Robinson
“You have no weaknesses, you just don’t know your strengths yet”, - Jerome Robinson
When Jesus said, “I am the way”, & “Follow me”, & “I am the son of God”, most people interpreted his instruction to mean that he is the ONLY way. He is the ONLY way. Translation: Follow in his example. His way is the ONLY way. What many people may have missed from his teachings is that we are ALL the children of God. Did God not create all of us? Are we not related to Jesus through our Great, Great, Great (so on and so fourth) Grand Grand Parents, Adam & Eve? Do we not all consider ourselves brothers & sisters in Jesus? Shouldn’t we all act and walk just like Jesus by being kind to one another and doing right by God? I am not here to change your belief system. I don’t care to. That is not my field nor do I know enough to have an intelligent conversation about the subject. I do not know what I do not know. I leave that up to our father, God.
Did I just get all religious and fanatical on you? Hardly. You won’t hear me speak about the subject again, don’t worry. You will hear me train you on how to be the best sales person in your company and one of the best in your field. I will teach you how to get your company to beg you to stay and get other companies to throw all kinds of incentives & bonuses to get you to work for them. First of all, do NOT leave the company that you are with. There is something to be said about loyalty & character. If you have a shred of it, you will stay with the company that you are with. The company that you work for will come around and appreciate you when you are on top for long enough and you aren’t too cocky about it. Trust me. You will be rewarded for your efforts. When you get to the top, please write me a letter and tell me all about your journey. I want to hear all about it and share it with your peers.
Before we get started, I would like to teach you how to read a book. Read a book? Yes, read a book. See, most people read a book from cover to cover and there isn’t a pen mark or highlighted sentence or page fold or little post it tab or anything indicating that someone looked like they were studying for their SAT’s. A well read book as all of the previously mentioned. After someone properly reads a book, it because totally useless to anyone else that wants to read it. The next person would have to purchase another book. A properly read book is read at least 3-times. You need a pencil, a pen, a highlighter, post-it notes and a separate notepad to take plenty of notes from every page in the book. Sounds crazy? Take me seriously and you will succeed, I promise!
Who am I? You will soon learn. Who are you? You are a student of life. You are always growing and learning new things from various people and sources. Life is too short for something called life to donk you on the head and then you finally realize, "dahhhh, I wasted so much of my life and got nowhere because I was a no it all". Even then, you wont admit it to yourself. How old are you now? Look at some of your co-workers. How successful are they? How old are they? When will they realize that whatever they are doing isn't working out for them. It seems that the older we get, the more stubborn we are. There is one exception to the rule. The cocky 20-year little shit who thinks that they know it all. Annoying as they are. It would seem that nobody wants to take the time, patience and energy to learn and broaden there horizon or horsepower (as I like to call it), and study techniques on they can be competitive in (not just today's), tomorrow's market by being #1. If I was to build the ultimate company, I would hire a Korean former athlete. The energy and aggressive nature that is full of persistance and vigor. Also knows when to IGNORE THE NO. We'll talk more about that later.

My saying goes as follows, "be in the know by knowing when to ignore the no".
Example: don't just give up on the sale if the customer says "no, I'm not interested". Even if they say it 7 times. The sales person who ignores the no and doesn't quit and is persistent and continues to try n sell the customer will obviously do what??? Mske the sale when other sales people gave up. That's the difference between a sales person and a Professional Closer. You always want to strive to be a Professional Closer. Be competitive. Don't give up. Remember your ABC's. ALWAYS BE CLOSING. Follow that, you will be a millionaire inside of 6-years leaving your colleagues (we'll call them the 'Lazy Lozers'), behind, crying and making excuses about how they had crapper UP ' or that the economy is bad or some other lame ass excuses for why they can't close to save their dying grand Pappy's life. It's the oldest story in the book. I take no prisoners. No excuses. I will make no apologies for stealing your daughters virginity. I am that good. Either step up and try to come up to my level or back the "F" off and sit on the sidelines while I bed your wife.
Bottom line? The Lozers (I spell it with a Z because they r a special kind of Lozer), who don't close will make $0 and the winners, will go home with the gold and be rich as "F". Don't play this game unless you've come to win. I will always win. Believe that. Know that. I am all that. You can be all that too. Continue to read and self educate yourself always!
Failure doesn't have to be a dead end street. It can be a detour if your failure is used as a learning experience to get somewhere better. There can be many bumps on your road to success. This book will help you lessen them if you utilize the tools and learn from its teachings. In life, you often come across many crossroads; left, right, or sometimes straight. But if you follow my examples, you should never find yourself making a u-turn or driving backwards. Your road to success is not always straight depending on what life throws at you.
Your future is comprised by a bunch of nows. Take action now. Do now what you've been putting off tomorrow. Be a better you. Make tomorrow better, today.
You will stand against the tides, and for that, you shall soar about the oceans and the river wild.

Fear is not real. The only place that fear can exist is in our thoughts of the future. It is a product of our imagination; causing us to fear things that do not at present and may not ever exist. No excuses. No shortcuts. Will not fail. I will succeed. I will win every time. Because I am a winner. I am the best. I will grow and be better everyday. I love life. I can do it.
